Chairman contributes to International Financial thoughts at Downing Street
"Everyone is aware of the interesting economic times we have experienced in the last three months. However, Kapital International are convinced of the long term investment potential in emerging locations like Brazil. Chairman of Kapital International, Keith Punler, has recently met with a number of important figures in the world of global financial markets which has affirmed his view on the opportunities which we all now have. Having recently met Jim O'Neil, Head of Economics at Goldman Sachs International, the man who invented the acronym "BRIC" for the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China, Keith was heartened to hear that Jim maintains his confident outlook for these four economies and believes that Brazil will achieve some significant growing economic status. In addition Keith also recently met Alistair Darling, MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer at a meeting held recently in London at 10 Downing Street. Again the message is clear that whilst we live in unusual times, there are some excellent opportunities which lie ahead for us. Buying property early enough in emerging markets has always been a wise thing to do. I think the risks are much greater in established and mature markets."
